California, Arizona and Nevada have agreed to cut 10% of their allotted usage from the Colorado River. This will likely to lead to new water restriction rules, especially in California.
Analyst Comment: New water restrictions in California will likely have disparate impact on farms. Expect more farm operations to move or close in the state, or at least, throttle operations. This may put upward pressure on food prices in the next few years.
