So far two January 6th defendants claimed the DoJ offered them plea deals that included the stipulation that they had to “condemn President Trump and say that President Trump was the one that made him do it.”
Analyst Comment: These coerced statement could be used against Trump in a future trial, by presenting them as evidence that Trump incited the events on January 6th. This is early Soviet-era tactics at work here in the good ole USA.
