“Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on federal gun charges out of Special Counsel David Weiss’ investigation.
Biden was charged with making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm; making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer; and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.”
Analyst Comment: Will Hunter actually get jail time, unlikely. There are several directions this could go: We could see another plea deal involving no jail time for Hunter. The prosecution could torpedo their own case so Hunter gets acquitted or a mistrial. Either way, this provides some appearance of the Cathedral is impartially serving justice for Hunter at a time when the elder Biden is under scrutiny over his deals with China and Ukraine. Additionally, it appears increasingly unlikely Hunter will face any charges over his tax and sex crimes.
