China has continued to harass and block Philippine vessels in the South China Sea.
Analyst Comment: Despite US saber rattling over China provocations, it has done little to stop day-to-day Chinese interdiction of Philippine vessels. China continues to expand its influence and aggressiveness in the region. Securing this region will be critical for China to initiate a blockade of Taiwan.
